Scope and responsible publisher

This policy describes the current static preview of Tabletop Field Notes, intended for https://velmosaic.com. The responsible publisher identity and production hosting provider have not yet been confirmed. Before public launch, the publisher must add its legal name and confirm how the production host handles visitor requests and security logs.

Information handled by this preview

The site has no accounts, comments, newsletter, advertising, analytics, payment system, or web contact form. Its scripts do not send the theme preference stored locally in your browser to a publisher-operated server.

Email correspondence

If you email [email protected], the message and reply address may be processed by the publisher and its email provider to review and respond to your request. The provider, processing location, and message retention period must be documented before public launch.

If you change the display theme, the browser stores that choice in local storage under tfn-theme. The theme preference stays in your browser on that device until you clear the site’s stored data or the browser removes it. Ambient background motion follows your system’s reduced-motion setting and is not stored as a site preference.

Google Fonts

The preview loads typefaces from Google Fonts. To request the font stylesheet and font files, your browser connects to Google-operated font domains. Those requests can disclose your IP address and standard technical request information to Google. Google describes its handling of information from sites and apps that use its services in its partner-sites privacy notice. The publisher has not configured a separate font-hosting arrangement for this preview.

Hosting and server logs

This local preview does not establish the production host’s logging practices. A public host may process technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested path, browser details, and security events to deliver and protect the site. The publisher must identify the host, its processing locations, the purposes and legal basis that apply, any relevant international transfers, and the log retention period before launch.

External links

Articles link to game publishers, rulebooks, institutions, and other sources. When you follow an external link, the destination operates under its own privacy notice and may receive information from your browser. Tabletop Field Notes does not control that site’s data practices.

Your privacy choices and rights

You can remove the local theme preference by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser. For privacy requests, contact the publisher at [email protected].

If EU or UK data-protection law applies, individuals may have rights such as access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or data portability, depending on the processing and its legal basis. Individuals may also complain to their relevant supervisory authority; people in the UK may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. If consent is used for a particular purpose, it can be withdrawn as described when consent is requested.

If the publisher is a business covered by California’s CCPA/CPRA, California residents may have rights to know/access, correct, and delete covered personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and to receive equal treatment when exercising those rights. The current preview has no advertising, analytics, or sale/sharing feature. Coverage and applicable exceptions depend on the publisher and its operations; the publisher must confirm coverage and provide the required request methods before launch.

Retention and policy changes

The theme preference remains in browser storage until removed by you or your browser. Production hosting-log and email retention periods have not yet been confirmed. This policy will be revised before material data practices change.

This policy reflects the intended domain but remains a preview notice until the responsible publisher, production host and log practices, email provider and retention, legal bases, and any international transfers are confirmed. Adding forms, advertising, analytics, embedded services, or other third-party tools requires a new review before activation.
